The Kingdom of God and Eternal life

The Kingdom of God is the realm of God foretold in the Old Testament and proclaimed as having come to us in the New Testament through the Person of God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And thus after John the Baptist as Jesus’ forerunner finished his course as the Last Old Testament prophet. The Lord Jesus Christ went out and preached the gospel or good news about the Kingdom of God saying: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15
That is what the Lord Jesus Christ commands of everyone. To repent and believe. Now repentance essentially begins when someone has a change of mind about themselves and or their lifestyle, when they are living apart from, or in disobedeince to God. And thus repetance is a turning away from one's sin (and or unbelief) and a turning, or a returning to God. That is what the Lord Jesus' parable of the prodigial son clearly portrays (See Luke 15:11-32). For eternal life is the gift of God to everyone who repents and believes in the King of the Kingdom of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
For God having shut up the whole world under sin, through the Law. He has made redemption from sin and entrance into the Kingdom of God only possible to those who believe in Jesus Christ crucified for them (Rom. 3:19-28; 6:23). As Jesus said in John chapter three when speaking with a teacher of the Law named Nicodemus. “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
That is having been born naturally (by blood and water) so must we be born again by the Holy Spirit by faith in Jesus’ Person to enter the Kingdom of God, as Jesus said: …“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5-6
It is then the Spirit of God, because of the Work of God, through the Son of God, who brings us to life and into the Kingdom of God when we believe in Jesus Christ crucified for our sins remission, and risen from the dead for our justification (Rom. 4:25). As Jesus says: It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.John 6:63
Therefore we only the Kingdom of God by faith in Jesus’ Christ’s Person. We don’t enter by our own works and efforts. We only enter as repentant sinners who look to the Lord Jesus Christ crucified in our place; to take the punishment of our sins for us. And thus we only enter by the grace of God (Eph. 2:8-9). If you are unsure of your own standing, whether inside or outside of the Kingdom of God, why not settle the matter today. By first acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of salvation, and asking the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life to save you from your sins, you can enter the Kingdom of God and have eternal life. If you believe in Jesus please pray something like this:
Dear Lord Jesus I believe that You were crucified to save me from my sins and make a way for me to enter the Kingdom of God by faith in Your Person. I also believe You rose from the dead as proof of Your Person coming from God. But also of the eternal life that You freely bestow on everyone who believes in You, by Your Holy Spirit. Therefore I now invite You Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to be My Lord, Savior and King. Confessing You alone as Lord and trusting You alone for my salvation, in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus amen.
